Core Curriculum Training Program
Participants will receive 102.5 clock hours of training in the NCCER Construction Craft Laborer curriculum. Training will be comprised of basic safety, construction math, hand tools, power tools, blueprint reading, basic rigging, basic communication skills, and basic employability skills. Participants will also receive their OSHA 10 card. Participants train Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Training can be completed in three weeks and will receive the knowledge, skills and abilities to enter the workforce as a construction helper.

Residential Electrical Level One Training Program
Participants will receive 110 clock hours of training in NCCER's Residential Electrical Level One. Training will be comprised of electrical safety, electrical theory one and two, alternating currect, electrical test equipment, introduction to the national electrical code, raceways, boxes and fittings, fasteners and anchors, hand bending, conductors, conductor terminations and splices. Participants train Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Training can be completed in 3.5 weeks. Participants must have successfully completed the Core Curriculum Training Program to be eligible for Residential Electrical Level One training. Participants will receive a certificate of completion from NCCER's National Registry.

Residential Electrical Level Two Training Program
Participants will receive 110 clock hours of training in NCCER's Residential Electrical Level Two. Training will be comprised of introduction to electrical blueprints, wiring devices, raceway, box and fitting, fill requirements, wiring – commercial and industrial, grounding, circuit breakers and fuses, installation of electrical services, electrical lighting, lamps, ballasts, and components. Participants train Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Frazier Complex. Participants must have successfully completed the Core Curriculum Training Program and Residential Electrical Level One to be eligible for the Residential Electrical Level Two training. Participants will receive a certificate of completion from NCCER's National Registry.

Introductory Skills for the Crew Leader Training Program
This is the first part of NCCER's management education series. The course is 16 hours total and teaches the basic leadership skills required to supervise personnel. It discusses the principles of project planning, scheduling, estimating, management, and presents several case studies for student participation. Participants will receive a certificate of completion from NCCER's National Registry.

Training Program
Participants will receive approximately 384 clock hours of accelerated NCCER training. Applicants must be 17 years old by the conclusion of training, have a GED or high school diploma, pass a drug screen, and have daytime training availability. Training will be comprised of basic safety, construction math, hand tools, power tools, blueprint reading, basic rigging, basic communication skills, and basic employability skills, plus entry-level training in one of the following trades: electrical, pipefitting, carpentry, or AWS-certified welding. Participants will receive a certificate of completion in Fork Lift and High Lift. Participants will also receive hands-on safety training in electrical, instrumentation, pipefitting, millwright, boilermaking, welding and industrial carpentry technology. Participants train Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Participants will receive the knowledge, skills and abilities to enter the workforce as a construction helper. At the conclusion of training, a job fair will be held to place students that have successfully completed training.

Residential Carpentry Level One Training Program
Participants will receive 160 clock hours of training in NCCER's Residential Carpentry Level One curriculum. Training will be comprised of orientation to the trade, wood building material, fasteners and adhesives, hand and power tools, introduction to concrete and reinforcing materials, foundations and flatwork, concrete forms, floor systems, wall and ceiling framing, roof framing, and windows and exterior doors. Participants train Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Training can be completed in 4.5 weeks. Participants must have successfully completed the Core Curriculum Training Program to be eligible for the Residential Carpentry Level One program. Participants will receive a certificate of completion from NCCER's National Registry.

Residential Carpentry Level Two Training Program
Participants will receive 180 clock hours of training in NCCER's Residential Carpentry Level Two curriculum. Training will be comprised of reading plans and elevations, site layout, exterior finish, roofing applications, thermal and moisture protection, stairs, framing with metal studs, and interior finishing. Participants train Monday through Thursday, 6-9 p.m. Training can be completed in 15 weeks. Participants must have successfully completed the Core Curriculum and Residential Carpentry Level One Training Programs.

Pipefitting Level One Training Program
Participants will receive 80 clock hours of training in NCCER's Pipefitting Level One curriculum. Training will be comprised of orientation to the trade, pipefitting hand tools, pipefitting power tools, oxyfuel cutting, ladders and scaffolds, and motorized equipment. Participants train Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Training can be completed in three weeks. Welding Level One Training Program
Participants will receive 160 clock hours of training in the NCCER's Welding Level One curriculum. Training will be comprised of welding safety, oxyfuel cutting, base metal preparation, weld quality, SMAW – equipment and setup, SMAW – electrodes and selection, SMAW – beads and fillet welds, SMAW – groove welds with backing, joint fit-up and alignment, SMAW – open V-groove welds, SMAW – open- root pipe welds. Participants train Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Louisiana Technical College in Port Allen. Training can be completed in four weeks. Operator Basic Level One Training Program
Participants will receive 200 clock hours of training in NCCER's Heavy Equipment Operators curriculum. Training will be comprised of heavy equipment safety, identification of heavy equipment, introduction to earthmoving, dozers, backhoes, and excavators. Participants train Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Louisiana Technical College in Port Allen.
