Choose a Career in Construction – Help Rebuild the Gulf
Over 6 million Americans work in construction today and more than $600 billion go into construction projects every year.
Construction made this country, and craft professionals are the reason we have the homes, roads, offices and stadiums that make America great.
Hurricanes Katrina and Rita tore through the Gulf Coast last summer, devastating local families, their homes and places of business. What the Gulf needs now is a skilled workforce capable of rebuilding that area.
What does this mean to someone considering a career in construction?

- Steady employment and skills that will get you a job wherever life takes you
- The opportunity to move up in your career, to manage people and projects and make something of yourself
- A chance to start your own company, set your own schedule and be your own boss
- Great benefits like health insurance and profit sharing from many employers
- A lifetime of earning enough to afford a home, an education for your kids and a good life for you and your family
