NCCER and Certification
Certified Instructors Provide Valuable Training
The National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), a not-for-profit education foundation created to help address the critical workforce shortage facing the construction industry, has also been a leader in developing industry-driven standardized craft training programs with portable credentials.
The NCCER standardized training programs, in which all GREAT trainees participate, provide a proven curriculum recognized nationwide. NCCER Certified Instructors have trained all GREAT participants. Learn more about NCCER »
Additional Partnerships
GREAT was launched by a partnership of highly regarded private and public organizations, coming together with the goal of recruiting and training up to 20,000 new construction workers in the Gulf Coast. Now GREAT has partnered with the Choose Construction Initiative (CCI) to replicate the success of the Gulf Coast Workforce Development Initiative on a national scale.
Take a look at the partnering groups, businesses and corporations helping to fund GREAT:

greater than it is today. We want to help rebuild our communities – and rebuild the lives of the Gulf Coast residents.”
